New England child treated for life-threatening injuries after skateboarding accident

SOUTH PORTLAND, Maine (AP) — An 11-year-old Maine child is being treated for life-threatening injuries after he was strike by a automobile while skateboarding.
Police contend a child had skated into an intersection in South Portland when he was strike Wednesday. He was comatose when medics arrived.
The motorist called 911 after a collision. He is auxiliary with military and no charges have been filed.
Police are stability to investigate. They have not expelled a name of a child or a driver.
