Loved ones reason burial for child killed while skateboarding

Candles were resplendent brightly as friends and family accumulate to remember a 6-year-old child who was killed final month.

They collected for a candlelight burial tonight nearby a mark on Bensel Street in suburban West Palm Beach where Jeremiah Lopez died. He was visiting kin during a time of a deadly accident.

Lopez, a initial grader during Loxahatchee Groves Elementary School, was roving on a skateboard he got for Christmas and skated into a trail of a Jeep Cherokee.

He died in his mother’s arms.

“He was a present from God, and God was prepared for him,” pronounced Veronica Lopez, Jeremiah’s mother. “God indispensable him.”

The motorist of a Jeep Cherokee isn’t confronting any charges.

Family members are also building a commemorative on a side of highway in memory of Jeremiah.

A GoFundMe comment set adult in Jeremiah’s name has lifted some-more than $3,700 for wake and other costs.
